Michael grew up in Chicago Illinois. His aunt was a Tae Kwon Do instructor and was aways having him try new forms of fitness. She introduced Michael to Tae Kwon Do as a kid, and then Capoeira. He wrestled throughout High school and after graduating, trained Muay Thai. Michael moved to LA for the sunny weather and his friend Rocky would always boast about how CrossFit helped him beat Michael in workouts. After that, he decided to give this CrossFit a try and hasn't looked back since.

Favorite Cheat Meal: Cheeseburgers with grilled onions from In-n-Out. Delicious. And Chocolate peanut butter milkshakes.
Interesting Fact about Michael: As a kid, my dad taught me how to breakdance and always signed me and my brother up to compete in breakdancing tournaments.
Favorite Super Hero: Green Lantern. Because constructing things with the power of your will is cool. And Stone Cold Steve Austin because he was badass for every kid who watched WWF as a kid.
