Pete Barajas

Pete grew up with a fairly active lifestyle, playing various sports and consistently spending time in the weight room. Beginning around his mid-twenties, as life became busier and priorities shifted, Pete gradually became less active and he lived a relatively sedentary lifestyle for the next 10 years. Pete then discovered CrossFit in 2011 and, after completing his very first WOD (12 in AMRAP of push presses, KB swings, and box jumps), he became instantly hooked. Pete continues to CrossFit to stay strong and healthy and, most importantly, to enjoy a better quality of life with his wife and kids.

Pete has been a CrossFit Games volunteer for the past four years and has served as a judge at Regionals at several other high profile events on multiple occasions. He loves coaching because he enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others and witnessing the progression of members as they become healthier, stronger, and more confident over time.
